I leased a new 2024 VW ID.4 under the VW of America lease program and Gunter VW of Delray Beach, Florida wrote the lease at 7,500 miles per year when the corporate program AND Gunther's ads clearly state that the lease is 20,000 miles over the 24-month term. They stated that the miles were reduced because the car had factory installed floor mats even though the lease deal was written at the MSRP including the floor mats. Clearly the floor mats are not worth a 5,000 mile reduction in the terms of the lease. This is a Bait and Switch tactic since I specifically asked the saleman before coming into the dealership whether the car he called me about meets all the terms of the nationally advertised lease deal and he assured me it did. That is why I came into the dealership.
