Upon going to the dealership for the ID4 National Lease program, we were advised they had 2 cars that met the program criteria. When asking if the lease was 10k miles per year over the course of the 24 months, we were advised it was 7.5k miles by the Sales Manager. We then discussed various monthly parents with purchasing miles up front to know monthly payment over and above the $149. We did decide to purchase an additional 5000 miles to have 20k over the course of the 24 months. The day after we realized the National Program was already 20k miles. We called the Sales Manager to correct the deal, which were informed it was not a base car due to the fact the factory installed rubber floor mats for $300 and told us if we do not like it return the car. Rubber floor mats does not change the model of the car from a standard to a Pro. Again, we were told the cars they had met the lease criteria. This has been the worse customer experience I have had in the 35 years of purchasing or leasing a car. They will not honor a National Program because of rubber floor mats installed by the factory. Their lack of customer service will be my first and last time purchasing from this dealership. I will also no recommend this dealership to my friends, neighbors and or community. RUBBER FLOOR MATS FOR 5000 MILES...... Great Customer Services. Do the right thing. Don't tell me to return the car and roll back the deal. Miles so not cost you anything, but it cost me $0.12 upfront. It is not the money, but the principle. We are now 9 days post lease with no resolution. This is a simple correction to the paperwork to meet the lease language. The dealer did not know their own MFC deal when inquiring at the sales desk. The Sales Management Team has been arrogant in their continued messaging. I stress the highest level of caution if you choose this dealership for not standing behind the programs that are offered and the bait and switch. Caller ID leads to voicemail each and every call, so they will ghost you. I await a call back regarding this matter for resolution.

The corporate sponsored lease, as well as the Gunther advertising stated that the lease on the 2024 ID4 was for 20,000 miles over the 24-month period. They wrote the lease at 15,000 miles over the 24-month period because they claimed that the car was not a "base" car because it had floor mats installed at the factory. So $298 floor mats cost me 5,000 miles of driving. At .20cents per mile at the end of the lease, it equates to $1,000. The dealership and everyone one associated with deal told me if I don't like, just return the car. That is totally unacceptable and a very poor solution to their "bait and switch" tactic.

I had to return my previous 2024 Cross Sport due to a lemon law issue. I chose to return it to Gunther in Delray as my experience with VW of Pompano was less than subpar. From my first interaction with Vasil in the service department to return my vehicle to then him having Zarko waiting to discuss the purchase of a new vehicle with me it was a great experience. Zarko was knowledgeable about the vehicles and the current National rate offerings through VW Credit, and was able to assist me in the buying process.
